During your initial appointment we talk about nutrition. I will be asking for a 3-day food diary from you. Typically I like to see an Good Day, and Average Day and a Bad Day of eating. These can be 3 days in a row or they can be spread out. Just as long as you can get them to me close together. So you might want to enter all the info together. So for day 1, please fill out form and hit submit. Reload page and re-submit but select day 2 entering a new days worth of food and again reload page and repeat for day 3.
What is the point of this? Mainly to make you aware of what you are eating! During pregnancy not only are you growing a baby, but your uterus is growing and you are creating a placenta! Plus, you are doubling your blood volume, an important thing to stay healthy during pregnancy! I highly encourage you to eat 80-100g of protein a day, salt your food to taste and eat enough other (good) calories for fuel so the protein can be used at building blocks for everything I mention that your growing!
